Below we have listed for you the most important information regarding Covid-19 and the associated safety measures.
Some things will be slightly different in the winter season 21/22.
We will only be able to welcome those people in our house who are either vaccinated or have recovered and can prove this by means of currently valid documents.

For check-in at Davo Lais and to use the cable cars and restaurants you will need one of the following documents:

Please show us a proof of your received vaccinations against Covid-19 (complete immunisation with a vaccine approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA); note immunisation duration; not more than 180 days ago.
Proof by means of a digital Covid vaccination certificate (EU-compliant “green passport”) or vaccination passport or vaccination card.

Valid vaccines:

  • Vaxzevria (Astra Zeneca)
  • COVID-19-Vaccine Janssen (Johnson&Johnson)
  • Comirnaty (BioNTech/Pfizer)
  • Spikevax (Moderna)

Please show us a medical confirmation (proof of recovery) of an infection with SARS-CoV-2 survived in the last 6 months.

Please note: Evidence of neutralising antibodies does not count as 2G evidence.

  • Children up to 12 years of age do not need proof of a low epidemiological risk (no 2G-proof, no PCR-proof) for accommodation, restaurants, sports facilities, leisure facilities, ski lifts or at events.
  • Children from 12 to the end of compulsory schooling (children who were born before September 1st, 2006 are finished with compulsory schooling) require appropriate evidence of a low epidemiological risk:
    • For school children, a VALID (holiday) ninja pass is equivalent to 2G proof.
    • Children traveling to Austria need a PCR test at least twice a week. These are therefore considered 2G evidence.
    • When entering the country, a negative PCR-test is required.
  • After the end of compulsory schooling, the 2G obligation applies to children when entering accommodation, restaurants, sports facilities, leisure facilities, ski lifts or at events.

Current information can be found here.

In alignment with and supplementary to the current legal requirements in force, the policy makers in Ischgl and Samnaun have therefore developed a comprehensive set of measures, that have the aim of ensuring the health and safety of our guests, our employees and the local population.

To visit the Silvretta Arena, you need a valid 2G certificate (vaccinated or recovered) in addition to your ski ticket. Your ticket will only allow access to the ski area if proof of 2G status is provided.
In Austria, visitors must also comply with the FFP2 mask requirement when using all cable cars and lifts. In outdoor areas, an FFP2 mask must always be worn if the recommended minimum social distance of 2 m from strangers cannot be maintained – this applies especially to queue areas.

Here you can find the details of the Silvretta Arena Ischgl / Samnaun (Covid-19 Compliance).

/ We welcome you warmly, but not with a handshake and / or a hug as usual, but with a friendly smile.

/ To make check-in on site more convenient and faster, we ask you to provide us with the name, address, mobile phone number, passport-ID number and date of birth of all travellers. This saves you time and allows you to check in almost “contactless”. Please let us know your planned arrival time at the same time.

/ Entry into Austria: A 2G+ certificate is required for entry, as well as an up-to-date PCR test or a booster vaccination.
– Children under 12 years: no 2G, no PCR test necessary
– Children born after August 31, 2006: PCR test as part of the ninja pass

/ We ask you to bring the mouth and nose protection (FFP2-mask) with you, as this is required for activities outside the home (especially when using the cable cars and lifts, ski buses, restaurants, taxi rides, doctor / pharmacy, grocery stores, …).
We ask our guests to wear mouth and nose protection RESPONSIBLY where the minimum distance of 1 meter to strangers who do not belong to your family / travel group cannot be maintained.

Insurance cover before the trip / Cancellation cover

To ensure that your vacation is as stress-free as possible, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance with the European travel insurance. (ETI)

Cancellation coverage also in case of Covid 19 disease despite pandemic status.

For all existing and newly concluded insurance contracts with cancellation protection, ETI do not apply the pandemic exclusion for cancellation and trip interruption contained in the ETI-terms and conditions until further notice.

To this extent, ETI provide cover in the event that you, as the insured customer, are unable to commence the trip or have to interrupt it,

  • because you suffer from COVID-19 symptoms,
  • because you have been found to have an elevated temperature measured, even if a later test result is negative,
  • because you were tested positive for COVID-19 without showing symptoms,
  • because a close relative or a person living in the same household has contracted or tested positive for COVID-19 and therefore your urgent presence is required or you must therefore be quarantined.
  • because you are quarantined as a Category-I contact person (K1) by means of an official segregation order
  • because you had a Category-I contact as a vaccinated or recovered person and therefore receive an official traffic restriction notice as a K2-contact person.

However, there is no cancellation protection,

  • if you cannot or do not want to start the travel because you are worried about an infection due to the increasing number of cases at your holiday destination,
  • if you cannot or do not want to start the travel because you are classified as a risk patient.

As before, ETI-premiums do not differentiate between risk patients and non-risk patients, and, as before, ETI does not introduce any age limits.

All measures are adapted according to legal requirements and are valid at the present time. Please also inform yourself about the measures at the official places. We ask for your understanding that changes may also be made at short notice.
