Cable car / ski operation winter 20/21 (Covid-19 Compliance)
In addition to the currently applicable legal requirements, the mountain railway companies in Paznaun and Samnaun offer a comprehensive package of measures in the ski areas, which enable relaxing and beautiful days of skiing.

/ Disinfectant dispensers can be found in the entrance lobby and in the ski room.
/ All apartments are carefully cleaned. The company Hollu systemhygiene supports us in an advisory capacity and with the most modern cleaning and disinfection systems. We take care of our guests and employees.
/ We are specifically intensifying a large number of cleaning activities. This applies for example to the cleaning or disinfection of contact surfaces at the reception, the lift and the stair handrails, door / window handles, light switches, TV remote controls and the sanitary facilities.
/ We and our employees are trained in the hygiene measures owed to the special circumstances and implement them.
/ All laundry is washed down to the pores.
/ As long as the Covid security measures are in effect, access to the apartments in Davo Lais is possible for house guests and in special cases for registered visitors.
/ Our hotel folder and information can be called up on our homepage and also via QR code.
/ Follow the distance rules and wash or disinfect your hands several times a day.
/ Please note the number of people in the hotel lift (family or people belonging to your travel group).
/ Use our hotel ski pass service. You can purchase the ski pass (key cards are disinfected) for the Silvretta Arena easily and conveniently at the Davo Lais reception – of course at the prices and conditions of the Silvrettaseilbahn AG.
/ When you buy a ski pass, we give you a multifunctional cloth that can be used as a mouth and nose protection (MNS). Wearing an MNS is compulsory in the correspondingly marked areas in the resort / in the ski area.
/ We ask you to bring the mouth and nose protection with you, as this is required for activities outside the home (especially when using the cable cars and lifts, ski buses, taxi rides, doctor / pharmacy, grocery stores, …).
We ask our guests to wear mouth and nose protection RESPONSIBLY where the minimum distance of 1 meter to strangers who do not belong to your family / travel group cannot be maintained.
/ The measures apply as long as they are recommended / ordered by official bodies. If necessary, these are adjusted.
Arrival and departure
/ We welcome you warmly, but not with a handshake and / or a hug as usual, but with a friendly smile.
/ Apartment keys are disinfected before they are issued.
/ Disinfected pens are available at the reception.
/ The EC / credit card terminal is disinfected after each use.
Updated cancellation conditions for the winter season 20/21
Due to the current worldwide special situation, we have adjusted our cancellation conditions for the winter season 20/21. Please understand that we only accept cancellations in writing (on paper or digitally via e-mail).
Direct bookings can be rebooked for the winter season 21/22 free of charge up to 14 days before your planned arrival date. We keep your deposit and credit it to you for your next stay with us at Davo Lais.
/ In the event of a cancellation from 14 days to 7 days before the day of arrival, we will charge 70% of the total package price.
/ For cancellations made during the last 7 days before the planned arrival date, 90% of the total price is to be paid as cancellation fees.
/ In the event of no show or early departure, we will charge the entire booked arrangement price.
If fewer than the booked number of people arrive, the full apartment price will be charged. Otherwise the general Austrian terms and conditions for the hotel industry (AGBH 2006) apply. The place of jurisdiction is Landeck in Tyrol.
What about SARS-Cov-2 in a global second wave?
In the event that there is an increased incidence of infections again (second wave SARS-Cov-2) and the finally regained travel freedom is withdrawn and new restrictions are imposed (arrival not possible due to closed borders, closed ski area, quarantine in the region , …), and we cannot provide our service for these reasons no cancellation costs will be charged. We keep already made down payments and credit them to you for your next stay with us at Davo Lais.
Travel cancellation / interruption insurance
To ensure that your vacation is as stress-free as possible, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance with the European travel insurance.
IS COVID-19 AN INSURABLE REASON FOR CANCELLATION?
Yes! In order to support tourism the European travel insurance has decided to insure Covid-19 diseases like any other unexpected serious illness despite the current pandemic status according to the WHO. As long as the situation remains stable and there is no increased incidence of infections (second wave), full cancellation insurance and travel interruption protection apply. There is coverage in the event that you as an insured customer cannot commence or have to break off the trip,
/ because you will have an elevated temperature, even if a later test result is negative or you have tested positive for COVID-19 without showing any symptoms.
/ because you get COVID-19 symptoms.
/ because a close relative or a person living in the same household has developed COVID-19 and your presence is urgently required.
/ because a close relative in the common household is sick with COVID-19 loreand therefore you have to go into quarantine.
